I love reading about other people’s goals.
There are few things that make me happier than watching someone put their mind to a task and achieve it, myself included.
I have a few goals for myself this fall. Besides diagnosing and conquering my chronic pain, I have many other objectives I hope to reach in the coming months. Maybe I’ll share some of them in the future, maybe I’ll keep them to myself; whatever. The important thing is that I try my best to make them happen.
I do have one rather silly goal that I want to share with you. And you’d better hold me to it!
I will start and finish 8 jars of nut butter in the month of September.
Laugh all you want. Go ahead, think I’m silly for even making this pledge. I don’t care. I want to challenge myself to something fun that I know I will enjoy working towards.
In fact I challenge you to make a fun pledge for yourself this month. Goals don’t always need to be things that make us stronger, wiser, and better people (though it’s great when they do!). Sometimes goals can be about giving yourself something to look forward to. Sometimes it’s just about doing something to make yourself smile. So that’s what I intend to do!
Let the September nut butter challenge commence!
